Wish Upon is a 2017 horror flick starring Joey King as a teenage girl who discovers a box that makes any wish you have come true, but at a grisly price. This movie was critically slammed and received a measly 16% on Rotten Tomatoes. That being said, this movie is unintentionally hilarious. It manages to miss the mark in every way. It's clearly written by a 50-year-old who has no ideas how teenagers talk, which creates comical dialogue and funny moments. An example of this is a character dying because she had to go to the roof to catch a monster from a "Pokemon Go" rip-off app. The movie is written like a stereotypical high school movie with the stereotypical mean girl type included and it unrolls like one. Although it is impossible to say that this movie is ironically good, it has a “so bad it's good” type of feel to it and because of that, I would recommend that you watch it with a group of friends and have a good laugh.
